Collage painting engages an intuitive, aesthetic sensibility to successfully achieve balance among the visual elements of shape, color, line, value and texture. I am an avid colorist. I enjoy the multi textural qualities of paint and paper collage. With the collage paintings I strive to be less subjective and more open to allowing the creative process to direct the image's development.
