Making art can be a deeply meaningful spiritual practice. My art is created with a sense of intentionality, reverence, appreciation and an openness to be directed by a higher Creative Source or Infinite Intelligence. Characteristics of transpersonal art may include themes that are clearly spiritual representing traditional devotional figures or sacred icons; mandalas and symbolic shapes that convey a spiritual essence or luminous energy; art that represents visions and dreams that convey transcendence and/or transformation; and /or art that unifies sacred symbols and archetypes from various world religions with the intention of interfaith and diversity awareness.
